The binomial coefficient, $\binom{n}{k}$, read $k$ among $n$, is the number of [[Subset|subsets]] of [[Cardinal|cardinal]] $k$ of a set with $n$ elements. It is equal to:
$$\binom{n}{k}=\frac{n!}{k!(n-k)!}$$
