Autrement dit, la famille jX(K)j_{X}(K) est ponctuellement bornée. Comme XX^{*} est un espace de Banach, on peut appliquer le théorème de Banach-Steinhaus, et trouver une constante M>0M > 0 telle que jX(K)j_{X}(K) est borné en norme par MM. Comme jXj_{X} est une isométrie, KK est aussi borné en norme par MM.
