The first chest contains 15 gold coins.
The second chest contains three times as many coins as the first chest.
The third chest contains one-ninth as many coins as the second chest.
The fourth chest contains twice as many coins as the first three chests combined.

How many gold coins do the adventurers get in total?

The solution is 195 coins.

The first chest contains 15 gold coins.
The second chest contains 3×15=453\times 15=45 coins.
The third chest contains a ninth of that, so 45/9=545/9=5 coins.
The fourth chest contains 2×(15+45+5)=1302\times(15+45+5)=130 coins.

So the adventurers got 15+45+5+130=19515+45+5+130=195 coins.

Le premier coffre contient 15 pièces d’or.
Le second coffre contient 3×15=453\times 15=45 pièces d’or.
Le troisième coffre contient 45/9=545/9=5 pièces d’or.
Le quatrième coffre contient 2×(15+45+5)=1302\times(15+45+5)=130 pièces d’or.

Donc les aventuriers ont récupéré 15+45+5+130=19515+45+5+130=195 pièces d’or.
