0)\textbf{0)}Remarque: Les fonctions x↦x2x \mapsto x^{2}, x↦x4x \mapsto x^{4} et plus généralement pour tout entier n∈Nn\in \mathbb{N} pair, la fonction x↦xnx \mapsto x^{n} est paire.

En effet ∀x∈R,(−x)2=(−x)⋅(−x)=(−1)x⋅(−1)x=x⋅x=x2\forall x \in \mathbb{R}, (-x)^{2}= (-x) \cdot (-x) = (-1) x \cdot (-1) x = x \cdot x = x^2.
(Exemple :(−4)2=(−4)⋅(−4)=16=4⋅4=42(-4)^{2} = (-4)\cdot(-4) = 16 = 4 \cdot 4 = 4^{2}.)
Puis x↦x2kx\mapsto x^{2k} est paire car (x2)k=x2k(x^2)^k=x^{2k} donc on conclut sachant que x⟼x2x\longmapsto x^2 est paire.

1)\textbf{1)} On note ff la fonction x↦1+x2+2x4x \mapsto 1 + x^{2} + 2x^{4}.
Pour x∈Rx\in\R, f(−x)=1+(−x)2+2(−x)4=1+x2+2x4=f(x)f(-x) = 1 + (-x)^{2} + 2(-x)^{4} = 1 + x^{2} + 2x^{4} = f(x), donc ff est paire.

2)\textbf{2)} On note gg la fonction x↦x2+1x \mapsto \sqrt{x^{2}+1}.
Pour x∈Rx\in\R, g(−x)=(−x)2+1=x2+1=g(x)g(-x) = \sqrt{(-x)^{2}+1}=\sqrt{x^{2}+1} = g(x), donc gg est paire.
