Soient A=(0−31305−1−50)A = \begin{pmatrix} 0 & -3 & 1 \\ 3 & 0 & 5 \\ -1 & -5 & 0 \end{pmatrix}, B=(0110)B = \begin{pmatrix} 0 & 1 \\ 1 & 0\end{pmatrix}, C=(12−23)C = \begin{pmatrix} 1 & 2 \\ -2 & 3\end{pmatrix}, D=(02i−2i0)D = \begin{pmatrix} 0 & 2i \\ -2i & 0\end{pmatrix} et E=(01+3i1−3i0)E = \begin{pmatrix} 0 & 1+3i \\ 1-3i & 0\end{pmatrix}. Pour chaque matrice, dire si elle antisymétrique ou non, en justifiant.

Remarques préliminaires

Pour vérifier qu’une matrice M∈Mn(C)M \in \mathcal{M}_{n}(\C) est antisymétrique, on doit vérifier que ∀i,j∈[ ⁣[1,n] ⁣],mi,j=−mj,i\forall i, j \in [\![1,n]\!], m_{i,j} = - m_{j,i}

Les coefficients diagonaux d’une matrice antisymétrique sont tous nuls. En effet ∀i∈[ ⁣[1,n] ⁣],mi,i=−mi,i\forall i \in [\![1,n]\!], m_{i,i} = -m_{i,i} donc ∀i∈[ ⁣[1,n] ⁣],mi,i=0\forall i \in [\![1,n]\!], m_{i,i} = 0

Matrice A

A=(0−31305−1−50)A = \begin{pmatrix} 0 & -3 & 1 \\ 3 & 0 & 5 \\ -1 & -5 & 0 \end{pmatrix}
Les coefficients diagonaux de AA sont nuls
−3=a1,2=−2,1=−(−3)=3-3 = a_{1,2} = -{2,1} = -(-3) = 3
1=a1,3=−3,1=−11= a_{1,3} = -{3,1} = -1
5=a2,3=−3,2=−55= a_{2,3} = -{3,2} = -5
AA est antisymétrique

Matrice B

B=(0110)B = \begin{pmatrix} 0 & 1 \\ 1 & 0\end{pmatrix},
Les coefficients diagonaux de BB sont nuls
mais 1=b1,2≠−b2,1=−11 = b_{1,2} \ne -b_{2,1} = -1
BB n’est pas antisymétrique

(Remarque : BB est symétrique)

Matrice C

C=(12−23)C = \begin{pmatrix} 1 & 2 \\ -2 & 3\end{pmatrix}.
Certes 2=c1,2=−c2,1=−22 = c_{1,2} = - c_{2,1} = -2
mais les coefficients diagonaux de CC ne sont pas tous nuls
donc CC n’est pas antisymétrique

Matrice D

D=(02i−2i0)D = \begin{pmatrix} 0 & 2i \\ -2i & 0\end{pmatrix}
2i=d1,2=−d2,1=−2i2i = d_{1,2} = -d_{2,1}=-2i
et les coefficients diagonaux de DD sont nuls
DD est antisymétrique

Matrice E

E=(01+3i1−3i0)E = \begin{pmatrix} 0 & 1+3i \\ 1-3i & 0\end{pmatrix}
1+3i≠−(1−3i)1 + 3i \ne -(1 - 3i)
Donc EE n’est antisymétrique
\newline
(Remarque : EE est en revanche hermitienne)
