Une matrice A=(ai,j)1⩽i⩽n,1⩽j⩽nA=(a_{i,j})_{1\leqslant i\leqslant n,1\leqslant j\leqslant n} est antisymétrique si elle est égale à l’opposée de sa transposée ATA^\mathsf{T}, ce qui signifie que ai,j=−aj,ia_{i,j}= -a_{j,i} pour tous i,ji,j tels que ai,ja_{i,j} est définie.

Remarques
  • Noter que toute matrice antisymétrique est carrée.
  • Les coefficients d’une matrice antisymétrique sur la diagonale sont nuls

1 / 2
  • Soient A=(0−31305−1−50)A = \begin{pmatrix} 0 & -3 & 1 \\ 3 & 0 & 5 \\ -1 & -5 & 0 \end{pmatrix}, B=(0110)B = \begin{pmatrix} 0 & 1 \\ 1 & 0\end{pmatrix}, C=(12−23)C = \begin{pmatrix} 1 & 2 \\ -2 & 3\end{pmatrix}, D=(02i−2i0)D = \begin{pmatrix} 0 & 2i \\ -2i & 0\end{pmatrix} et E=(01+3i1−3i0)E = \begin{pmatrix} 0 & 1+3i \\ 1-3i & 0\end{pmatrix}. Pour chaque matrice, dire si elle antisymétrique ou non, en justifiant.
